Please join us at the July Roundtables as we hear from Larry Wilson, a senior consultant from the Umass Information Technology Services Department to discuss best practices for designing and building a risk-based cybersecurity program based on the National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework.
We know that HR is often responsible to support all aspects of the business including cybersecurity which is a high risk area for all companies. This session will be helpful in understanding the associated risks and strategies essential for all HR professionals.
The roundtable will include a discussion on topics such as creating a comprehensive System Security Plan (SSP), conducting a Risk Assessment to compare the current security profile with the desired security profile and identify any gaps that need to be addressed, developing an action plan to mitigate the highest priority gaps.
Companies are encouraged to bring their IT person as a guest.
