As a result of the pandemic Massachusetts saw nearly a decade’s worth of progress in the area of female advancement in the workplace erased. In early 2021, AIM launched our Pink Slip program leading MA in a discussion on the issue commonly known as the “She-cession” while identifying ways to remove gender disparities in the workplace. AIM broadly shared policy recommendations employers could implement in an effort to bring more women back to work. AIM also surveyed members to determine where these policies have been implemented and, the level of success achieved as a result of these policies.

This event will bring key business leaders into a detailed discussion on workforce disparities; and what they have done to try to address these gaps. We will also share the results of AIM’s survey and engage in a conversation, with attendees and the panelists, about their experiences and best practices.
