During this in-person event, Mayor Wu will share the challenges she’s faced as the first woman and the first person of color elected mayor of Boston, as well as the opportunities these challenges have presented. Mayor Wu will also share how her diverse perspective has been as asset for her in politics and during her first year serving as the “CEO” for the City of Boston. She will share lessons and best practices applicable to businesses throughout the state – not just those located in Boston. And she will discuss important strategic initiatives born from her personal experiences, and how they are translatable to business. She will also allow time for questions from attendees about her office’s work and priorities.
