Drugs and Alcohol in the Workplace - Supervisor Essentials - Core Skills - April Series 2026

This interactive training is designed specifically for supervisors and managers to help them confidently and appropriately address drug and alcohol issues in the workplace. Through real-world scenarios, participants will learn how to apply company policy, recognize signs of impairment, and respond effectively in situations involving potential substance use. Key areas of focus will include when drug and alcohol testing may occur under your policy, how to handle reasonable suspicion situations using a standardized checklist, and the impact of legalized drugs—such as marijuana—on workplace safety. Supervisors will leave this session better equipped to protect employees, maintain compliance, and support a safe, productive work environment.
